About Margaret Ann Parker
![]()
"My wish would be for you to legally take her property, and she have to go elsewhere to stir up trouble."

Parker is a self-professed born-again Christian, outwardly devout and a regular church-goer. In the mid-1980's--while still in her 30's--Parker was classified "permanently" disabled with a back injury.
* In reality, she is a con artist who trades on this "disability," especially with those in church communities. Parker claims she can't work because she can't sit for longer than 30 minutes at a time or even walk up and down stairs. Does this picture look like a person with a permanently disabled back?I knew Parker for over 20 years before we bought property together--a house big enough for us to have separate lives and pursue diverse interests. After barely four years (and as little work as possible) Parker lost interest and set in motion a plan to defraud me of everything I have.
Parker announced "God told me to move" to Tennessee--with the help of the people she had been plotting with for over two years. She even duped members of the
Colonial Heights Baptist Church, 231 Chesterfield Avenue, Colonial Heights, VA 23834 into actively helping her to leave me holding her share of the utility balances and a big mortgage. Church members Rob and Lori Albright, along with numerous others, packed Parker's belongings, loaded the van, and drove it to Tennessee without once questioning her actions! When I took her to court, Parker agreed to sign a notarized waiver of ownership giving me full property ownership so I could refinance. That agreement was witnessed by
Shannon Staton, 7606 Squirrel Level Road, Petersburg, VA 23805, a leader of the Colonial Heights Baptist Church community who accompanied Parker to the court hearing. But Parker's agreement was as much a lie as all her other promises. Now I'm facing foreclosure and bankruptcy thanks to Margaret Ann Parker's lies. judgment to enforce the settlement agreement and pay the $15,000 worth of debt Margaret Ann Parker owes was entered against her on January 9, 2003 and notarized January 24, 2003. More judgments will follow as Parker's debt increases from month to month. Craftily she's trying to hide her assets to avoid responsibility. She claims to "own" the condo she lives in, but the deed was put in her father's name--Dr. Earl E. Parker, 411 Stoneham Drive, Wimauma, FL 33573 (813) 634-6799--to protect it against any liens. And of course she's still sucking up our tax dollars to live the good life. While collecting her monthly, taxpayer-funded disability check, Margaret Ann Parker embarked on a yearly series of trips that would have exhausted a healthy person. Apparently she had no trouble going up and down the stairs or sitting in her car for these trips.
In 1997 Parker complained
** to her friend Debbie Berquam:"I'm just trapped here. She expects me to do all this painting and repairing.
I can't do anything with my back."
In spite of that claim, Parker managed to drag herself through eighteen trips over three years:
1996: Houston, Wisconsin, California, and Florida.
1997: Florida, Tennessee, Maryland, Wisconsin, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania.
1998: Florida, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Washington, DC, and Tennessee.
1999: Wisconsin, Tennessee, and Virginia Beach. In September of 1999 she moved to Tennessee.
Parker also insisted she did not have the money to pay for improvements to the house, even complaining about necessary repairs, such as a new roof. However, she did have money to send to her "friends" in Tennessee--the same people who ultimately helped her abandon the property in Virginia.
Excerpt of letter
** dated 6/15/97 to Diana and Gary Phillips, 114 Lancaster Drive, Franklin, TN 37064:"Hi! I just finished writing to the new missionary in your family. I wish I could send more money, but hope what I sent will help a little."
And it does seem Parker reaped the benefits of sending money to the Phillips.
Excerpt of letter dated
6/8/98 to her father"I'm going to drive over to Nashville again later this week.
Gary and Diana want to basically "adopt" me..."
"I hope you can send me another $ installment soon, so I can pay off Sears!"
Wow! Don't we all wish Daddy would pay off our credit card bills so we could travel?!I'm not looking to travel.
My goal is to save my home.
*Undoubtedly there are certain people who honestly believe Parker cannot function due to her back injury. I would encourage them to do a simple Google search for "Christians with Disabilities" and read the stories presented--stories of ordinary Christians who are seriously disabled--totally paralized--blind--deaf. Yet somehow these people have overcome the depression, pain, and frustration of their disability to study and work--to shine as a light on a hill for the whole of society.
